Our aim is to provide a complete design service from Tender submissions through to AS BUILT’s providing detail drawings & bill of materials / glass as required.

OUR STORY

KDK are an experienced team in Curtain Wall Facades having specialised in the field both in the UK and in Australia for more than 30 years.

The directors of KDK Designs met (as apprentices) where we specialised in curtain wall facades; the beginning of our drafting careers at a leading multi-national curtain wall company: Permasteelisa.

It was here over the next 8 years, that we gained invaluable training and knowledge in the curtain wall industry.

In 1998, an opportunity to travel & work in England, fortuitously unfolded for us and as specialised contractors; we expanded our knowledge on multiple facets of façade design.

After 3 more years working effectively as a team, we determined that this arrangement moving forward, could be rewarding for each of us and in 2001 we formed a partnership: KDK Designs.

We relocated back to Australia & opened a drafting office, where we endeavoured to employ like-minded individuals to establish a specialised façade contract drafting service.

In 2007 we formed the company: KDK Designs International Pty Ltd & continued working both in Australia & United Kingdom.

Currently KDK Australia has 6 draftspersons, whilst in our Overseas Office in Prague, we have 2 Fulltime Draftspersons who specialise in 3D.

KDK Designs cover all aspects of design & fabrication including ordering of all materials & Glass if required, currently we utilise Solidworks/Inventor & AutoCAD 3D where required

We are excited with the opportunity to extend our specialised contract work to new window / facade companies and look forward to developing new and successful business relationships.
